Overview

Farm to People AI Assistant ("we", "our", "the Service") is a meal planning tool that helps you get the most out of your Farm to People produce delivery. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to provide the Service.

Information We Collect

• Phone number — Used to identify your account and deliver SMS meal plans if you opt in.
• Farm to People credentials — Your FTP email and password are encrypted at rest (Fernet encryption) and used solely to access your cart contents for meal planning.
• Dietary preferences — Preferences you set during onboarding (household size, dietary restrictions, goals) to personalize meal suggestions.
• Cart data — The contents of your Farm to People delivery box, retrieved temporarily to generate meal plans.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate personalized meal plans based on your actual delivery contents.
• Suggest ingredient swaps and add-ons tailored to your dietary preferences.
• Send SMS meal plans when you text us (if you opt in to SMS).

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect payment or financial information.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted in the US). Passwords are encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption before storage. Session authentication uses signed, HTTP-only cookies with CSRF protection.

Third-Party Services

• OpenAI / Anthropic — AI models generate meal plans. Cart contents are sent to these APIs but are not stored by them beyond the request.
• Supabase — Database hosting and authentication.
• Vonage — SMS delivery (if you opt in).
• Google Sign-In — Optional OAuth authentication. We receive only your email and profile name.

SMS Communications

If you opt in by texting our number, you consent to receive SMS meal plan messages. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP at any time to opt out. Text HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies based on your requests.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Cart data is refreshed with each new delivery and old data is not retained beyond the current planning cycle.
